During ALF, over 20 artworks and installations by (international) artists, designers and architects will illuminate Amsterdam’s city centre. Every year the festival sheds a new light on the city. What is the Amsterdam Light Festival [ALF] contribution?
During the Amsterdam Light Festival, over 20 artworks will be showcased in the city of Amsterdam. These are designed and developed by artists and designers, who have worked on these for months to get them to the designated location during the festival. Since the Dutch winters are infamous for their turbulent weather conditions, the maintenance of these artworks is one of the key priorities of the Amsterdam Light Festival organization. Hence, the shipping companies that are Official Partner of the Amsterdam Light Festival pay an Amsterdam Light Festival contribution per guest for the maintenance of these artworks to the organization of the event. By means of these contributions, the organization can ensure the quality and maintenance of the artworks in order for us to offer you a high-quality cruise: in light of service, personal attention and quality of the artworks of the Amsterdam Light Festival.

No plans prior to your ADE party? You can have a little pre-drink on one of our boats. We have the following closed boats available for you, ideally for the unpredictable Dutch weather.
We have ‘The Club.’ This boat is partly closed and partly open. Perfect for Dutch weather. It is possible to build a small stage and a music installation system. This boat has a capacity of 35 persons. Also, this boat is easy to use for branding strategies since it is possible to put up a company’s name or logo.
Additionally, we have ‘The Lounge’. This unique boat can be used for everything. Play a movie? Party boat? Anything is possible. This boat is closed but all windows can be opened. Moreover, this boat is equipped with a tap installation and a music system. This boat has a capacity of 85 persons.
All boats are equipped with a toilet, pillows, and blankets.
